Join us for a poetry writing workshop followed by an open mic night! The workshop will start with short, generative writing prompts, then transition to reading a poem as a group that will guide our writing for the hour. The second hour will be an open mic where you can share the work you produced in the workshop or any other poems you've been working on! Sign-ups for the open mic are first-come-first-serve at the door and will be capped to ensure everyone who signs up gets a chance to perform. Beginner friendly--no poetry experience required and all are welcome!
